Alerting people to the kufr

of he “who stands up” for flags

In the name of Allah

- Praises be to Allah, the lord of the worlds, and peace and blessings be upon the most honored of the messengers, our Prophet Mohammad and his family and companions (Sahaba) and who had followed them righteously to the Day of Judgment.

As for what follows:

 ▪ This doubt was quoted from ‘’Al-Torifi’’ Al Gahmy - may Allah guide him and open up his heart to truth-, when he judged on ‘’standing up (Al Qiyam) to greet the national flag’’ as “shirk Asghar (Smallest polytheism) ” not “shirk Akbar (Biggest polytheism)”. He has built that on his pure opinion relied on inappropriate evidence as follows:

A)- Distinguishing between the separated worship that allowed exclusively for worship Allah -like prostration to Allah in the prostration of thankfulness and recitation (Shukr and Tilawah)- He claimed that it differs in judging from not separated worship that allowed to worship Allah with it among other worships and It was not allowed to worship separately like Al Qiyam (Standing up in praying) and he claimed that standing up “Al Qiyam” differs from prostration and kneeling in judgment of takfir because Al Qiyam cannot be separately worship other than prostration which has been proven that worshiping with it separately as prostration of thankfulness and prostration of recitation.

- And he said: Although kneeling down was not mentioned as separated worship, but the person will be kafir because of doing it because it is prostration in Islamic law (Shari’aa) and in language and prostration is also called kneeling therefore, their rule is one and ’’he has built on this opinion that standing up (Al Qiyam) to greet flag is from shirk Asghar(Smallest polytheism)’’ and it is not one of the worships which get the person out from Islam because standing up (Al Qiyam) is not separated worship!

And all this is his pure opinion and was repealed due to the reason of the description and the judgment of Shirk Akbar (Biggest polytheism) is depending on worshiping other than Allah with speech and Action, As for Shirk (Polytheism) in intent of an act of worship Allah outwardly but the intention is for other than Allah “like to praise” of a good deed, this is excluded by the text because it is one of “the Shirk Asghar” and This is another matter will be cleared.

- “The Shirk Akbar” is worship by saying or action for other than Allah, and “The Shirk Akbar” is not related to be this worship separated or among other worship.

* What is the relationship of this distinction and the description and the judgement of “Shirk Akbar”?!

And the texts came out explicitly by describing “Qiyam”: honorably – with aggrandizement (Al Ajlal), glorification (Al Taezzim), and Piety (Qanoot) and with no movement or speech as worship, and associated it with prostration as It was also presented through the evidences that were mentioned in the origin of the article which shows kufr the one who stand for flag and his exit from the Islamic religion.

B)- Some protested due to the previous “heresy of distinction” by saying that the little bowing of helpless person in prayer is worship inside the prayer but it is not a worship outside of prayer because (Sahabah) companions (Radya Allah Anhom) May Allah be pleased with them asked about it for “greeting” between them which indicates that this is what people got to know and get used to.

→ Al-Tirmizi said, Swaid informed us, Abdullah informed us, He said: Hanzala bin Obaidullah informed us that Anas bin Malik said: A man said: O Messenger of Allah, the man from us meets his brother or his friend? Does he bow to him? He said: “No”, He said: does he kiss his friend? He said: “No”, He said: shall he take his hand and shake hands with him? He said: “yes”. Narrated by Tirmizi and others.

- The companions did not think that the little bend to greeting was originally a polytheism (Shirk) and how the companions unaware of Shirk?! And if it was a Shirk, the messenger of Allah would have clarified with any phrase indicates that it is only for Allah and did not satisfy with just the potential prohibition of hatred or forbidding. (interdiction) (Tahrim) or both kinds of Al Shirk (Clarification if needed is obligatory) Accordingly, it is only forbidden and not Shirk originally, bowing is worship to Allah in prayer not outside it according to what they said!

- As well as narrations of the prohibition of standing up (Al Qiyam) indicate that standing up for greeting is forbidden and not from polytheism (Biggest Shirk) and standing up for funeral is not kufr or shirk. Some of them added a position of “The Tashahood” is like sitting in front of the teacher or educator.

and the response is as follows:

1\- one of worship is the heart hidden worships as the fear, the hopefulness, the humility and more, and there are action apparent worships Shariaa pends the reason of Takfir if it was just disbursed to other than Allah like slaughter, prostration, kneeling, circumambulation (Tawaf), standing up (Qiyam) and more, and the intention is not required to takfir who did it, except “Abu Hashem Al Jibai'e” -May Allah curse him- who said that it was required.

-> Al-Baghdadi said at Al farq bayn Alfiraq [1\177]: >>His fifth scandal is his saying about the ‘’conditional will’’<<

He means that ‘’the intention’’ and ‘’the will’’ are required to judge by Kufr in apparent acts of worship.

- Al Jauwayni Al Jahmy mentioned about him at Al Borhan [1/304}]. >>he does not judge by kufr who prostrates between the hands of Idol (Wathan) until he intends<<

2\- And which helps to understand this matter and different between ''Qiyam of worship'' and ''Qiyam of greeting'' what came at the two sahihain and others, it was narrated by Abu Amr Al Shaibani said: Zaid bin Al Arqam told me: we were speaking during prayer in the era of the Messenger, may Allah bless him and grant him peace and anyone of us was speaking to his friend about his need until this verse (Ayah) was sent down :(be guardian of your prayers, and of the midmost prayer, and stand up with devotion of Allah). [Albaqqra: 238] (so were commanded to keep quiet).

- And at “Muslim” “we were commanded to keep quiet and forbid us to speak”.

“Allah commanded people of monotheism (Ahlu Al Tawheed) to keep quite when “standing (Al Qiyam)” during the prayer. And the leaders of the polytheists (Ahlu Al Shirk) commanded them to keep quite when “standing up for the flag”, and if someone spoke when standing up for the flag , his greeting and glorification stand would be null and void, also , as the” Muslim” if he deliberately spoke in prayer ,his prayer would be invalidated. and it is well known that the “Qyam of greeting” does not prohibit speech during it nor it is a defect”

3\- this is {the objector saying} an opinion, confusion and ignorance of the reason of the judgment and description, where we have not considered the description and the shirk and kufr judgment on every mere standing only and we did not considered every little bit bowing of body to greet only as some people do of a little bit bowing his head to greet, therefore, the mere standing as well as the little bit bowing the head is a pure worship if it is associate by all of these following descriptions, with which it will be one of ''the biggest shirk'' that means who do this is kafir and this is achieved in “the Qiyam for the flag” or the “soldier's Qiyam” for the officer and this is evident from their mere making in front of the “flag”. And whoever claims that he does not have these characteristics is a liar because his apparent indicates that.

And these are the descriptions and little bit bowing for greeting are a worship {Ebadah} as follows:

A\- that the standing and little bit bowing are associated with “honor” and “glorification”.

 B\- humility without moving like turning around or walking or moving the limbs or others.

C\- associate it with qunut (invocation) and khushoo (humility) without speaking.

* If it is said: from where did you get these descriptions and restrictions? And what is the evidence on that?

“it was said: these are attributes combined in “Qyam of worshiping Allah” in prayer and which are associated with glorification, reverence, khoshoo, qunut, no movement, and no speech. these descriptions are achieved in “standing up for the flag” and “officers” and this is the intentional worshiping, shirk, and” kufr Akbar”, and whoever did that is kafir whether intended or not. whoever made worship to someone other than Allah, he knows what he is doing- means he intended to do, as it did not happen accidentally,” he went out of the religion” even if he did not mean worship, and even if he did not mean kufr”

because only Morji'ah Jahmyah who requires “intending Kufr” in in order to judge by takfir on the appointed one other than requiring intending the action and there are many evidences for this. this is not a position to narrate them.

 - and the evidence of “Qyam” is associated with these descriptions is “apparent worship” have been mentioned in the original article on this matter. And little bit bowing is one of Al Qyam as in the helpless person prayer is associated with those descriptions which have been referred to, so it is pure worship other than the little bit bowing the head to greet- beside it is prohibited haram - because they are free from those descriptions that make it “shirk Akba”r and these three descriptions are not fulfilled in “abstract Qyam” for entering a guest nor in the little bit bowing of the head to greet.

So, the measurement of the two matters on each other is a measurement with the difference and they are quite different.

4/-There is no evidence his description of doing Qyam for the flag is “Shirk Asghar” according to its rule because this standing and bowing is either permissible such as “Qyam for the funeral” or it is prohibited in cases and are not from “Shirkyat” (Kufr) according to his inference and rooting for the matter.

* from where did he come up with the description of “Shirk Asghar”!?

as for his explanation for the description of the standing for the flag is as “shirk Asghar” for the sake of those associated descriptions that we have mentioned, this is an evidence {Huja} on his error as the following:

- because the associating those actions with these descriptions, the narrations came expressly that this association made it one of worships of Allah and worship Allah by it.

* how can he prove and decide that with this association became worships of Allah and worship Allah by it during prayer, then he says that it is shirk asghar, if it was used to worship other than Allah?!

and according to his saying, he has demolished and overturned what he decides and proves about the definition of the “greatest polytheism”, which is to allow worship to other than Allah!

5\- No evidence for his saying and his claim to differentiate between types of worships by considering separation and inclusion , Allah’s tashriae (legislation) of worship makes some worships are performed separately, and within others, whereas some of worships are not performed nor worshipped Allah by it only within other worships.

“I say: this distinction does not affect the rule that whoever worship other than Allah is kafir and get out of the religion of Islam. this is in allowing apparent worship that related to speech and deed specifically, this is unlike “pretension (Al Rira')” which related to “intention“ as the deed apparently is shown for Allah but the hidden intention “like request for praise” is not for Allah, so this intention contradicts the apparent deed, and the text has come to customize that as it is shirk “asghar” even though it has type of distract. and there is some of "Riyaa" which is "Akbar"”

6\- what he has said about “kneeling (Rokoe)” and “prostration (Sujud)” are united in the description of Islamic shariaa and language, and in this way he equals them in describing as Kafer whoever districts them to other than Allah, unlike standing (Qiyam). it does not go straight with his rooting and his heresy rule because it is nullified in Islam contradictory legislatively, linguistically & logically, but this is not enough to pass his rule because however “kneeling” and “prostration” are equal in terms of name and description, but shariaa made them completely “separate pillars (Arkan)” and two “separated religious worships” one cannot be self-sufficient from the other, so whoever prostrated instead of kneeling -or vice versa- intentionally, his prayers is invalidated, likewise, the language distinguished between them in terms of most general meaning, most special meaning and the most accurate meaning, the two have what to distinguish them in language a shariaa particularly when they meet, and that is confirmed by the famous rule in some ways: -“if they are met, they are separated in both language and shariaa and if they are separated, they are met- consequently, kneeling is separated worship of Sujud for this consideration.

kneeling was not mentioned that we can worship Allah by it separately, so Due to his misleading rule: whoever has kneeled to flag or anything else other than Allah, has fallen into ‘’Shirk Asghar’’ only and did not get out of Islam.

7\- What he said that there is no prove on worship Allah separately with that special Qiyam , is not true, as we will explain- by the will of Allah - and what we mean by “special Qiyam”: ((standing with glorification (Ta’zeem) and honor (Ejlal) with (Khooshu’e) and (Qunoot)”, without speech, movement and aberration of eyes turning around)) and these are several associated worships, and there are texts prove that “humble” and others that were mentioned are worships outside the prayer which nullify his differentiation.

→ Allah Almighty said about Zakariaa and his wife -peace and blessings be up on him and our prophet Mohammed-  (and humble themselves before us) {Al- Anbyaa| verse- 90}

And this description was not part of worship.

→ Allah Almighty said: (the day that the spirit and the angels will stand forth in ranks, none shall speak except any who is permitted by Allah. Most gracious, and he will say what is right). {Al Naba’-verse 38}

And there is no prayer nor worship here except for standing to Allah by submission, glorification and honor.

→ Allah Almighty said when he praised the believers of the people of the scripture (humbly submissive to Allah. They do not exchange the verses of Allah for a small price). {Al-Imraan | 199}

→ Allah Almighty said (for men and women who humble themselves). {Al Ahzab | 35}

It is known that praise of Allah Almighty for something indicates that it is worship, and one of that ,Allah Almighty praised his prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, at the day of Mi’raj, that his sight was not lost.

→ Allah Almighty said (his sight never swerved, nor did it go wrong) {Al- Nagm | 17}

not swerving the sight is a worship if associated with Ta’zeem, Ijlal, Khoushoo’, Qunoot, zool (humble).

“And these descriptions such as ((no speech, movement, swerving of sight)) are not a worship unless they are associated with what have been mentioned. “Not swerving sight” in front of the father is shame of him, not worship The humiliation in front of the parents is associated with mercy, compassion, kindness, righteousness, charity and polite, we have been commanded to do so in obedience of Allah and this humiliation, mercy, kindness, charity, righteousness and obedience of Allah”

And this is completely differed from the person who stands for rock or flag and there is no different between these two when he did not swerve his sight and did not move with glorification, honor, and humility and Qunoot with not movement, nor speak, nor turn.

* Is that a way to worship Allah by obedience of him, or is it humiliation, mercy, kindness, charity, righteousness like what have been mentioned for parents?! The difference between them is great

- They are at the flag as if there are birds on their heads and the swerving of sight when they salute the flag is very defective! And Movement and speech requires punishment, rebuke is the minimum! These people are loyal and Hostile for the flag sake and die in exchange for the homeland (Watan) and flag as they claim! And ignorance (Jahiliyah) that came out of the love of this flag like differentiating people according to the affiliation with flag or not, whoever belongs to it, he is a citizen as what they claim, and whoever not, is not.

This and others indicate the perfection of love, humiliation, glorification, and the loyalty and innocence are only for this flag with the association of all of these with Qiyam to the flag with Submissiveness, glorification, humility , and reverence without speaking, moving, swerving of sight and turning around.

8 \ - There are "great rocks" in some tourist countries that they ask tourists to run an experiment of standing up specifically for this rock. (as their description of Shirk run an experiment). They are not told that it is a lord or Allah or that it brings luck or happiness. And anyone has good instinct (Fitrah) and mind knows that standing up for this rock is a kind of worship, and those who say that the Qiyam for flag is forbidden because it is one of the "smallest polytheism" and denies describing it the "great polytheism" do not hesitate to describe the Qiyam for ( that great rock!) as a Qiyam with submission and reverence of humility and serfdom without moving and speech, swerving of sight and turning around.

“I say: they do not hesitate to describe that specific Qiyam here "the greatest polytheism"(Shirk Akbar) even if the one who stand up for this rock does not think it is worship and does not believe it is Lord or Allah, they judge that he has fallen into "the greatest polytheism" even if who stands up to it is among of the tourists who consider this as habits or a kind of wonders, not worships and considering it Allah”

And their judging on who stands up for that rock “the greatest polytheism" was the right thing, but when they distinguished between judging on standing up for flag and standing up for the rock, they contradicted and misguided. Some of them said reasoned that worship is only conceived of standing up for the rock to demand benefit for him or to keep him away from harm.

We respond to it with the following:

A)- Didn’t you decide in advance that who fell into the “greater polytheism” is Moshrik whether he intended worship or not and whether or not he believed that this is Allah or not, and this argument is against you not to you ?!

B) - What you have mentioned of demanding benefit and (keep the harm away) is a heart affair, by which the servant is kafir separately, whether he stood up for that rock or not.

there is no relation between using this reason and the point of the research which we disagree.

C) - How do you consider him kafer with that particular standing up and describe it “the greatest polytheism”, then you denies the relation between the reason of his kufr and his apparent act but with this heart case of demanding benefit and removing harm.

This is the core of Jahmiyyah sayings, who limited Kufr to the conditions of the heart only

“Based on this, the specific qiyam for flag is clearer in “the greatest polytheism”, than Qiyam of the Rock, because based on it they establish loyalty and innocence, so he prefer the Kafer and the astray than the others and fight and die for it. And the penalties and minimum blame, denial, and restraint are arranged based on for anyone did not stand up , or excessive in some of his characteristics, glorification, and honor(Ijlal) in the souls is more completed than for this rock”

 May Allah bless Muhammad and his family and companions as a whole
